I see so many people saying God Emperor of Dune is the best book in the series but I just. She literally cocks her head to the side, says, “what?” Then the chapter ends.

Leto abruptly tells her she’s ready to be tested. Siona finally meets Leto in the desert, but no questions get answered. Is this the way Frank intended this to be read? There’s even a chapter half way through the book where Duncan yells at Leto - “what the fuck are you getting at here, bro” and yet no questions get answered. Plenty of characters have asked him this exact question but it never gets answered. I don’t understand why Leto chose to turn himself into a worm. I don’t understand why Leto II has been taking about testing Siona for 400 pages now. I don’t understand why Leto II makes Duncan gholas over and over again

I’m laying in bed wide awake and pissed that I’m too stupid to understand what the fuck is going on in this book. I’m 3/4 through my first reading of this book and I’m pissed.
